The children had a fun opportunity to create art with bubbles this week. We began by placing water, paint and/or food coloring, and dish detergent in separate bowls. The children were each given a straw, and took turns blowing bubbles in each bowl. When the bubbles reached a bit above the top of the bowls, they placed a piece of paper on top of the bubbles and lightly pressed down. They removed the paper to find the bubbles made a colorful impression on the paper.Each child had the chance to blow bubbles of different colors, and made beautifully delicate bubble art.
