Today we completed our spring canvas which were painted in our last class. The children used tissue paper to realize a spring scene on their individual canvases.
We began by remembering our final goal, which was to create a springtime scene on our canvas. Each person thought about what kind of scene they would like to realize on their canvas. We then used glue and different colored tissue paper to paste flowers, stars, sun, hearts, and any other shapes they wanted to add to their canvas. Some children even cut different shapes from the tissue paper, and added them to the canvas. Some other children used ripped paper, and twisted it into flower petals or butterflies. The completed canvases were beautiful, a true representation of spring.
