This week we are again splitting our lesson into a two week session. In the first session, we painted a three-dimensional tree made out of cardboard. It stands on its own, and the children had so much fun painting the tree. Next the children made their own ornaments. They used pre-cut construction paper, and colored it by using colored pencils. Next they added glitter, ‘jewels’, and other decorative items to their ornaments.

The final craft for the lesson is for the children to make handprints in different colors on white paper. These will be a part of a homemade wreath which will be completed in our next lesson.Today's lesson was fun and productive for the children, as they focused on their tasks with great enthusiasm.
