Lesson 14-B -- Underwater Habitats

    

Today we again worked on our underwater canvas. This time adding marine life to our habitat. We colored fish, coral, and other living creatures and pasted them on the seascape canvas. We also talked about the different types of animals that live underwater, and we had the chance to add real sea shells and multi-colored glass stones to the sandy bottom.

The children had the chance to work together and share supplies; markers, colored pencils, glue, sea shells, and marine animal cut-outs. We saw how working together to accomplish a common goal can be very productive and fun. The children enjoyed making their underwater world come to life with beautiful results. They also had a chance to work together and enjoy each other.
